Ok, decided that for the last one, needed to make a good one. The prize for this will be a male wedding pack. Now for the question.

As you know George Washington was the first president under the United States Constitution. However, he was not the first President of the United States. Under the Articles of Confederation, there was 7 people that were considered as President. Name the first person to be named President of the United States.

Hancock was not. The order of presidents before Washington were as followed: John Hanson (1782), Elias Boudinot (1783), Thomas Mifflin (1784), Richard Henry Lee (1785), Nathan Gorman (1786), Arthur St. Clair (1787), and Cyrus Griffin (1788). After these gentlemen, George Washington was officially sworn in under Congress in April of 1789 where he served 2 full terms (8 years total) and voluntarily left office believing that no President should serve more than 2 terms.
